There are many news reports and research columns about the need to increase fitness opportunities for America’s youth. Our youth are living in a culture made up of chronic sedentary lifestyle. This is a consequence of computers, video games, TV and other technologies, fast food and services that keep us all sitting down and being waited upon. It is also evident that this lifestyle has huge potential to spoil mature growth into responsible adulthood of mutual human respect. We are so busy being waited upon that we forget those waiting on us are human just as we are.

CrossFusion Youth is a fitness initiative that encourages physical fitness through fun activities with an emphasis on strength training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility and good nutrition. But we also desire to coach youth about the responsibility of making healthy choices in all avenues of their lives including how they deal with themselves and one another.

CF Kids is designed to facilitate neuromuscular development in children as well as teach them the importance of physical activity in the face of a culture that is chronically sedentary, obese, diabetic and waging continual battle with hearts disease.

Why:

  • Today’s children are considered the most inactive generation in history.
  • Approximately one in five kids is overweight, a percentage that has more than doubled in the last 30 years. Childhood obesity is considered the most common nutritional disorder of U.S. children. (American Obesity Association)
  • Obese children and adolescents are more likely to become obese as adults. One study found that approximately 80 percent of children who were overweight at 10-15 years old were obese adults at age 25. (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
  • Youth fitness programs are a fun and safe environment
  • Learning the importance of fitness and experiencing how fun fitness can be provides a solid foundation for becoming physically fit and preparing to participate in other activities and sports.
  • Having a solid fitness coaches prepares our youth for a lifetime of self-respect, confidence, maturity and leadership.

CFY Boot Camp, Athletic Training & After-School Program- designed to give students the best physical training to get them in tip-top shape amongst their peers, boost confidence in their physical and mental aptitude while turning them into well-rounded, skillful and respectful athletes who are on the road to adult success.

CFY Physical Education- the same solid program as the CFY Bootcamp especially designed to meet the academic needs of homeschooling families.

CrossFusion Youth are placed into four age categories: 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-18
