I would like to truly thank, everyone at last nights workout. If it were not for all of the support (especially Lance) I would not have been able to complete it. It is a wonderful feeling to know that when you are struggling with the workout, everyone there cares that you finish and continually give words of encouragement and support, to get you through a tough time. Thanks again, Lance, Karen H., Karen K, Will and Angie. You guys are the best.

I joined kind of as a New Year's Resolution in January of 2010. I was also in the Army from 2005-2009. After I got out, I gained weight and just felt unhealthy from lack of exercise. Since I joined, I feel tons better! My back and knees actually hurt less often and I can actually do more push ups now than I could while in the Army and working out everyday! I have also joined the Olympic Weightlifting group and have really enjoyed seeing improvement in myself over time. It feels really good to get up a weight that I could not get a few months before.
Finally, there is no replacement for the confidence that comes from other people (and especially my wife) that comment on how fit I look as compared to before! Thanks Lance and Karen!

I joined boot camp September 1, 2010. I think it was truly one of the hardest, yet one of the best things I have ever done. When I started I was out of shape and needed a jump start to regaining control of my health and weight. I really don’t remember working out this hard, even when I was an athlete in high school. (Quite a few years ago.) 

I was, and continue to be AMAZED at the support that not only Lance and Karen give to the group, but also the people participating in the workouts. If it were not for all of them, I probably would have never stuck with it. For the first two months, my anxiety level was sky high. I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to do the workouts, but everyone was so supportive, it gave me the strength to continue.

4 months later, I am ecstatic at the changes I have made. I have only lost 8 pounds, BUT I have dropped 2 pant sizes, gained self confidence in myself, lowered my blood pressure, have more energy, and am no longer terrified of the workouts.  I am stronger than I have been in years, and I achieved my first goal of running a mile in under 10 minutes.

Thank you so much, for the support you continue to give to keep me going.

I joined boot camp in on June 6 and have attended a total of 12 sessions through yesterday (July 13). I have had the pleasure of going with 2 of my co-workers and have met some incredible people, who are super supportive. I have really enjoyed the boot camp atmosphere and have seen the results.

I have noticed new muscles forming (biceps), and have trimmed down in the shoulder area and along my sides. Since joining boot camp I have also noticed that the exercises are getting easier and I can run farther than when I started.

Further, boot camp has helped me in my overall goal of weight loss; adding boot camp to my routine has helped me get past a plateau and I am very happy to say that on Monday I weighed in at 158.0 pounds. I was stuck in the low 160s for what seemed like 2 month. Since starting to lose weight this year, I have lost 15 pounds... combined with my weight loss from last year, I am down a total of 30.5 pounds. I plan to continue with boot camp as I am feeling better than I have in a long time (more fit, more confident, and definitely sexier).

Thanks Lance! Thanks to all my fellow regulars at boot camp - I certainly could not have done it without you and I will miss you while on vacation!

I moved to Alaska this past jan, and I guess I fell into the ole eat, drink, and be merry most folks get into in the winter :)

I went from 140 to 155 within a 2 month span ( crazy for my frame since I am only 5'4) So, In March i joined Planet fitness. I worked out everyday for an hour to an hour and a half. Running/ elliptical/ biking/weights.. I really though I knew how to work out. I dropped maybe 3 pounds.... ( Maybe)

Since, being in boot camp just one month, I am down from a size 10 to size 8!! And today at the gym I weighed in 144 ( HAPPY HAPPY)

I was really unsure that just 30-45 min of boot camp 3 times a week would actually work, by god I have seen the light :). And I still don't really diet at all

I really thought you needed to go to the gym for hours and hours to see results. LANCE YOU ROCK! Thank you for helping me look better in my jeans ( and not muffin top in them hee hee)

Boot camp works ( trust me)
